The 3rd Annual Reggae Film Festival is now over, the event was a great success and we had a wonderful turnout from many reggae and film stars, the reggae film festival team would like to thank all those people who helped make the event possible including all of our sponsors and all of those who attended the event. Make A Film in 24hrs Competition Announced
The Jamaica Film Academy, producers of the REGGAE FILM FESTIVAL, invites Jamaica-based film makers -- professionals or amateurs -- to use film, video or cell phone cameras to make a 5 minute film in 24 hours at the REGGAE FILM FESTIVAL 2010. See PRESS section for details.
Registration is at the Hilton Hotel 8:30am on Monday 22nd Feb.

JFA launches new initiative to promote Reggae and Jamaican culture.
The Jamaican Film Academy has secured a sponsorship deal with a Web Host Provider which will enable FREE WEB ACCESS to anyone wishing to create their own website. The only criteria is that the site must have a Reggae or Jamaican theme. The JFA hopes that the new initiative will help those would may not normally be able to afford expensive web hosting costs to gain a web presence. The new 'Jahweb' project provides members with a web hosting account with FTP access plus many other features which would normally be very expensive if purchased seperatley. The JFA hopes the new project will help film makersand reggae musicians to gain a web presence and enable them to promote their films and music internationally.
